The export declaration is made electronically using the ATLAS export IT process. The obligation to submit an electronic export declaration generally concerns all export processes (deliveries of goods to third countries) regardless of the transport route. Filling out the export declaration requires certain knowledge, as a lot of work is done with codes and keys. Filling instructions are available on the German customs website to find. The export declaration must include the EORI number.
